My only other complaint with the game other than the lack of fouls is the button press power bar. Last year a light touch of the pass button when give you a light touch in space. This year it seems you have to press the button harder for a light touch on the ball. It doesn't feel as intuitive to me.
Where would one change it to "Manual Shooting" and "Unassisted Passing." Can't find it.

And will it also change the way the CPU plays?

Hit square when you choose whether to play home or away. The screen where the controller image is.

No it won't change the way the CPU plays.

Thanks a billion.

Now manual and unassisted definitely presents more of a challenge. Not only that, but now it looks much more organic and natural. This has restored my faith in the game. Initially, it was on my definite to buy list. Then playing the demo more and more, the pin point accurate passes started to make me dislike the game. This new found unassisted passing makes the game more organic and natural.

This game is back on my radar.

The only "concern/issue" unfortunately is that you can't do the same for the CPU. If only the same can be done for the CPU.

Remember with the demo you have a tiny sample size of teams, OK the accuracy isnt going to change dramatically (and nor should it, a professional footballer should be able to pick out a pass), however you will get more variety in stats/ability and as such have a bit more variation.

How great, I cant tell... but it should show up more, as right now you are playing with top tier teams from their respective nation.

It's more than just about them be professionals. It's about the overall organic look of the passes and receiving passes. The way Konami has the ball and foot interact on receiving passes doesn't have an organic, natural mannerism. The ball appears to simply magnetized to the receivers' foot. The way they have it setup is fine for passes here and there but it shouldn't be 95% of the time. The ball should be a little bit more loose, and not automatic.

Setup a nice header for a goal. This was on superstar difficulty.

Nice header but the whole cpu defense has collapsed because of the non existent AI coding.
- First pass: You easily succeed at pivoting the cpu marker.
- Cpu AI RW moves a bit in without a reason leaving your LW player alone for a cross.
- You have 2 players inside the box. One is marked the other is again alone without a reason.
- The cpu defender walks (!!!!) to mark your player and ofc he never reaches. Then we see a header animation (wtf) of the same cpu player 2 metres away from the goal scorer.
- Cpu Gk dives in slow motion. (That's already a flaw from last year's game)

Sorry for the somewhat harsh criticism but I can't overlook all these problems as I'm not a casual sports videogames player.

I agree that controlling the ball should be a little more organic, more mis-controls especially on passes that are zipped in. I wouldnt say it was magnetic as the ball reacts fine, its just that the players (whether its stat based or coded) all in general are immaculate at controlling the football.

A test in the full game would be to knock players ball control stat down to 1, and then start pinging footballs at him, see how he reacts, how he moves it about. IF its the same as how we see it now in the demo, then its obviously a game 'flaw' and the control stat means little, OR it could show him having issues and the ball bouncing off his feet, or him being clumsy at moving it.. idk.
