Re: PES 2016: Demo Impressions Roundtable

I think its a step up. They need to improve goalies and fouls still. Floating goalies are hard to look at sometimes.

They need to step up the realism of the ball. Looks too robotic still, better than last year though. This is where Fifa dominates as the spin on their ball looks amazing and mostly realistic.

Re: PES 2016: Demo Impressions Roundtable

I played the demo now like 50 games and my conclusions is the following :

- keepers looks bad
-fouls never being called
-animations and graphics are good
-gameplay is surprisingly good
-shooting (advanced) still notvthe right physics
-atmoshpere and weathers amd lighting is great
-compared to fifa its a game worth buying
- player models look better > fifa
-physicality on the pitch is great
-presentation us awesome
-tactical settings are great
camera angles are nice

overall im.surprised by pes16 demo
I always was a pes guy but since fifa 12 I switched but I guess its time to go back

pes 16 is a must buy for me ..I enjoy this game

where fifa feels restricted on the pitch no freedom all animation based

Re: PES 2016: Demo Impressions Roundtable

First time I tried the demo I also felt like "meh". But I like to give it lots of chances to convince me, or at least get tired of it. Last night I played a few more matches and good stuff showed up, along with the bad stuff.

First of all, it is sure an improvement over last year. It seems teams wont hold the ball as long as last year, but still have lots of possession, a bit overpowered. CPU can pass the ball consecutive times, even under high pressure, with high eficiency. I can live with that, as it improves the challenge, but there are still lack of fouls called by the referees and the shooting is lame! It takes away the satisfaction most times. It feels good, better then last yearīs, but sometimes it still feels too cheap. Its like its too easy to shoot from anywere, in any situation. I miss those situations where even good players would misjudge the shot completely due to pressure or lack of composure.

Passing feels better, its more contextual, but it should have been even better. Not very realistic but at least its fun as hell.
