Did they fix Mariota's DEV or is he still Madden worthless?

It really bothers me that you can go into any draft and get 3rd and 4th round qbs that have better overalls and better stats than Mariota (2nd overall pick) who is clearly a superstar of the future.

Madden just needs to find a way to tie the overall ratings of each player to other players on the team some how. I dont know how it would work but it proble could be done. I mean as an example James Jones isnt really 4 overall better then he was before the season started he didnt all of the sudden knock massive time off his 40 or grow new hands that catch better. He just gained an Aaron Rodgers which made him 4 overall better. Madden needs to find a way to reflect this in game play as a good QB should make his recivers better. Just like a good O line makes his QB better and running back better. Same goes on Defense a good pass rush helps the secondary in coverage and good D line can take up blockers to help linebackers be in a better position for a takle. But once again im not sure how to implement this or what ratings would be fixed and what ratings would change based on players around them.

He had one great game against the worst team from last year. I'd hold off on buying fabric for those superbowl banners just yet.

I would still prefer updates on week 4, 8, 12, 16, and final Superbowl.

Though I guarantee, the arguments would still be excessive. That's why we truly need FBG rosters to take over from this weekly overreactive nonsense.
