tried with max fatigue, still exactly the same.

Then I'm guessing the passing attributes have nothing to do with actual accuracy?
Those attributes must come into play to decide whether or not the pass is intercepted or deflected.

That's too bad.
I was watching some pre-season hockey inbetween breaks in the Jays game and I saw several errant passes.
Most came off the stick of AHLers, but I did see a fair share from established 3rd and 4th line NHLers as well.

I have pass accuracy for CPU at 1 pass reception at 0 and puck control at 0 I also have pass interception at 4. I have the CPU down to about 75% pass accuracy that way and have the CPU shots to a realistic 28-38 a game on 10 min periods. I'm getting pretty good gameplay but unfortunately it seems I'm winning too much. it appears by bringing the CPU down to earth they can no longer score. looks like back to the drawing board...........

Yes.. pass accuracy at 1 for CPU and pass reception at 0 for both are near perfect settings imho. For your issue of winning, mess with the CPU difficulty adjustment - I have mine in the middle (3) and win some, lose some.

I agree its the best way to balanced it and keep it looking realistic as sliders arent perfect but they do work .

Excellent idea with the CPU difficulty. I've been working on my rosters and was not thinking in depth on how to fix the issue but totally forgot about that. Will try it out thanks 👍

Hope it works out for you. I was in the same boat.. was winning on AS and SS just seems too boosted, so moving that slider really seems to even up the game when you want to add CPU difficulty.

Well, I haven't purchased EA's NHL in about three years...been getting my hockey fix playing 2K10 exclusively and updating rosters since then (which will be up soon but I digress)

I love the graphics and am enjoying playing in the AHL, WHL, etc. Be a Pro is a lot of fun. The overall presentation is super. I would have liked to find a way to edit players but I guess that feature is history.

The coach trainer mode is great for someone like me relearning the game.
Haven't touched HUT or any online yet- I'm more of a offline GM guy.

My main issue is that I keep trying to start a season/GM mode but the only way I was to come up with realistic goal scores for my play level was by limiting the game to 4 minute periods....Every game I played was a shootout, 7-6, 8-5. It was ridiculous. I started using Al Tito's sliders as a base...but I moved to Pro level...then had to adjust goalie levels and I had to lower the speed of the game to learn the game. Goals are down a lot and shot totals averaging about 25-30 shots a piece.

I hope to find a decent set of sliders that reach my skill level to start a Be a GM mode. Would have loved to control at the teams to keep trades up to date throughout the season. I too am not seeing much difference between the lines and player types. They're all fairly equal in most areas it seems.

Overall, I'm fairly happy with the game- just can't it to where I'm pleased with the goal totals quite yet. The sim results to games look realistic which is a good start.
