I can see this both ways, but as a franchise player I gotta say i'd rather see the mouthpieces. After 3 or 4 years into a chise you've got a bunch of rookies on your squad, and it's inevitable that two or three of the guys are going to have the same faces...the mouthpieces help differentiate the players. Its also easy to say that when the madden team has done a pretty awesome job with scans over the past two years.

Kane did you get a chance to scan the 3 bar RB facemask that Vick wore to fix the proportions and make it look as it should?

If you don't mind me asking... is it a similar hurdle with accessories on players arms/legs?

Things like the arm sleeve, forearm band, knee braces, ankle tape..etc.
Just curious why they haven't been able to be updated and done more realistically

No, mouthpieces are their own unique monster.

Knee Braces have just been low priority since you can't see them in the NFL like you can in college football.
