Madden NFL 17 Player Ratings - Top 5 Strong Safeties

EA Sports has continued revealing their Madden NFL 17 player ratings today, as they announce the top 5 strong safeties in the game. More detailed ratings can be seen in the official blog.

  • Reshad Jones (Overall 93)
  • Kam Chancellor (Overall 91)
  • Patrick Chung (Overall 86)
  • T.J. Ward (Overall 85)
  • Morgan Burnett (Overall 85)

Ha, so the strong safety position gets its own release but due to a lack of elite players, they end up reporting in the mid 80's, but OLBs get lumped as one huge group despite being on the left and right side of the field AND different player types for 3-4 and 4-3... :P

Kurt Coleman got moved to SS this year when the Panthers didn't resign Roman Harper. He had a pretty good year last year I wonder what he will be rated. Hopefully he just missed cracking this list.
