This... NBA popularity is at an all-time high. That is the reason why 2K keeps getting bigger. They even have different stars on the game to market different countries... The NBA is a global brand and that is what is pushing units.

Lack of competition helps because they essentially have a monopoly on the market. To starve it's most raving fans of information is not good will.

The marketing... Or lack there of is not the reason. 3 weeks out from release and I have to rely on shaky video and a couple of sparse articles?
