Running is a little harder imo. It's noticeable to me. Backers get to you faster and you don't break as many tackles. Other than that, pretty much the same tho.

The discussion was based around block shedding and if it was an issue. Clint's response; "not an issue" . The tuner lowering the block shed chance was released the next day. Nope, I believe the tuners are pushed with no testing, and are "knee jerk"

How is any of this a response to me saying that on a larger scale there might have been too many broken tackles?

The majority of tuner impressions seem to be positive, followed by indifferent (meaning people not noticing much of a change, which is good for some things mentioned in the tuner). The amount of negative opinions for this is so small in comparison to the others that either you guys are seeing something that almost nobody else is or you find issues that just happen to confirm what you think is happening.

Honestly, I am sick of chatting about it. The way EA implements patches and tuners is an extremely touchy subject for me, because time and time again I've seen them ruin my experience. Now, it very well could be that I look for things within my game play that others don't. This tuner made the game stale for me. I'm sorry I feel that way, but I do.

Pass blocking running backs shouldn't always pick up the blitz still a problem

The look and feel is much better, but cmon guys, this is still dry. When playing with the entire team, you linebackers are either heat seeking missles or get stuck in the turf turning or pivoting to cover a TE. Blitzing the AGAP is not realistic because guys get suctione onto the linemen or come clean. I'd like to see more control over the player, the game moves too fast and out of control.

If you've played real football, you know things move fast, but in a game you have to be able to see the play and control the action.

Off topic, but why are you still putting the late 80''s horse collars in the game? Why not the Bryan Cox style or the black neck pad?

I agree, but the tuner did what it was suppose to do, tuned the game play, whichever side of the ledger you are on.

Hopefully, the patch will fix up the other parts of the game, ie QB issues, LB's not covering out assignments, etc.....

Agree, but players don`t like to fail. Drops, QB missing WR, Broken tackles, all these kind of things are bad for many players. Some just want to go 300yds 4td 0 int and they enjoy that kind of game.

personally, i think all these items mentioned above are the one that make the game more dynamic. Example.

WR screen, wr 1 on 1 with a CB, he may break the tackle, he may drop the pass before he get hit or after he get hit.
The way Madden works is, it will be a catch and 99% CB will tackle the WR backwards.

That`s my experience after playing all weekend with tuner.

Each launch it feel fresh and organic, and each patch and tuner it goes back to the scripted events from past years.

I believe they are better as well. I don`t think it`s placebo.
