Most QB fumbles are caused by users trying to throw the ball out of a sack. Which is what should happen.

I specifically started a "PlayNow" game and chose "windy" conditions after noticing I was asked to download a tuner. And the CPU punted into the wind normally. I just super simmed until the CPU needed to punt into wind and then back out and actually ran a punt receive play to see what they would do.

I will check again, but before I was getting the low line drive punts where it would only go 15-20 yards and I'd end up mid field for easy scoring. It's been driving me nuts too. The low line drive punts into wind and look ridiculous. I've been super simming CPU punts into wind due to the glitch. That's why I was glad I thought it was fixed.

Last night was my first time playing the game since last weekend though. So maybe I'm wrong. But I was asked to DL tuner that I was not asked to DL last night. I played 2 games in a new CFM I started too after playing the PlayNow game. But they were in a dome and low wind so punting wouldn't have been an issue.
One legacy issue with Madden has been when you Super Sim the field position is swapped. I would suggest testing it WITHOUT Super Simming.

So I played a game in my CFM last night, and CPU punting into wind is still definitely screwed up. Sorry for the false alarm.

It was a home game (me as Pats) vs Houston, and every time they needed to kick into the 14 MPH wind they did the stupid low line drive punt for like 15-20 yards. I had to go back to super simming each CPU punt or kickoff or else they kicked so short I was at mid field or better. Ruined yet another challenging game.

My bad, wishful thinking I guess.

Also thanks for pointing out the issue with super simming, I never noticed that before.

Man I hope they patch the punting. What an amateur oversight on the part of their QA process.... I guess they don't test in windy games vs CPU too often. I noticed it right away.

However nothing about Madden has ever suggested to me that EA has even a slightly decent QA process. This is not something I expect to change until the dreaded exclusive license era for football hopefully comes to an end.

it's certainly less automatic. before the patch, it was a given TD once i was inside the five two at least two downs to score. now, not so much. you can't run the same play again & again anymore & expect success.

on the flip side, defending the CPU run inside the five is now harder. before, i wanted the CPU inside the five yard line cos i could shut them down with ease - now, they're much more likely to score a TD.

i only play online CFM. really liked the game before the patch and don't find much difference with it post-patch. on all-madden with a combo set of slider from jarrod21

as i've said before, for me, the lower ranked draft classes are a big improvement. i'd still like to see more pass rush equalling sacks. i still struggle with it. in a sixteen game regular season, i advance the week to "sim" about 8 times; i do play the moments for certain games and play somewhere between 4 and 6 games. during those six games, i might play D for a couple of quarters. if i didn't do that, my stud pass rushers would end the season with 5 sacks when other guys around the league have 20 plus.

i fully play the post-season games nudging the sliders to make the games more difficult.

this is the best madden i've played in over fifteen years. it's not perfect. it's never gonna be perfect. there are a handful of tweaks i'd like to see them make but in general, the developers have done a really good job on the CFM.

OK, Not quite understanding this.. So I am playing Play of the moment, The CPU has the ball and they are going to punt into a 10 mph wind. So if I stop play, and just super sim the CPU's punt, Are you saying they will be kicking with the wind instead of against it. Then when I go back to Play of the moment, I will have the ball going with the wind as it was. ??? Or am I completely misunderstanding this..

Seattle and Arizona didn`t get the latest patch. Their FG accuracy bar is still to thin

We can only hope that missing kicks like that is evantually possible in Madden without intentionally trying too. In Madden that would never have happened, all those kicks would have been easy makes. I felt like the game took a step forward towards that this year, but after the patches and tuners and everything it took a step back in my opinion.
