The two girls cheering in one of the splash screens are literally ripped straight out of the movie. One of the teams is from Charleston, and there are some "Plager Brothers" mentioned on one of the news screens as well. Also, mooning.

Plenty of Slapshot goodness to go around.

Just looking at how slow the goalies move from left-to-right and vice versa, it seems so easy to score goals. Just pass the puck across, shoot, and goal every time.
