Some people like the story in 2k.

Anyway I'm hype for this.

Imagine the game putting you in a scenario in little league (bases loaded with 2 outs in a game swaying position), and playing just one at bat. That one at bat could effect certain statistics of your characters attributes down the road (batting clutch, etc).

Of course it would take a ton of code to do the young players and such, but could be a really amazing experience and connect you to your character much more.

It's a cool idea but people complained because they spent 2 days on a retro mode. Just can't imagine what it will be if they spend 2 months for one at bat ;-)

It is not scripted or linear. You truly do pave your own path and the narration just enhances the entire experience.

I just don't understand why you would choose the obviously negative responses. Is there any long term benefit?

Role-playing, I'd imagine. There's probably no upside to being to a complete jerk, but that's how some will choose to play the mode. And that's fine, because it's their story that they're creating.

I will definitely be a jerk in mine haha, I find it a little more fun to be the one to stir the pot.

I will also have a polar opposite one as well, as I do two RTTS. One pitcher and a hitter.
