As long as the standard version is still regular price, no one should even care about the $150 dollar version. I'm sure 2K has a lot of data that led them to believe that there is a market for it. We'll know for sure when we see the prices for the 2K19 special versions.

It's crazy though to read this, and know with 100% certainty that I'm not going to pre-order the game for the first time ever.

Honestly probably gonna skip 2k18 this year unless there are some major gameplay and presentation improvements confirmed

Same. I support 2K but won't be purchasing 2K18 unless I hear great things from this forum, specifically from itchy_roll, after 2 - 3 months

Definitely gonna pick up 2K18 just to check out what's up. 2K17 was a step back (personally) from 2K16, so I don't wanna be playing 2K17 anymore.

Hopefully they leak some features. That'll prove that they're brave about 2K18 and what it has to offer.
