It had been a few years since I have played an NHL game but I am looking to get back in this year. I typically play franchise and am wondering if goalies fatigue over the season to where you need a back up. As the last one I played was nhl 20 and they didn't that year.

no there is no such system in place. However, you can set goalies to auto-rotate which will play your backup sometimes
