Tracking against AI

Even after patch tracking against AI even on hard is still a big problem more in the lighter weight classes,as you try and punch they are constantly side lunging and are almost behind you as you punch,an example is go against Amanda Ribas strawweight and watch how often she keeps circling around you making it way too hard than it should be to hit her. This happens across weight classes but she is just a good example.

Re: Tracking against AI

I was wondering about that today while playing career mode. Thought my character just wasn’t upgraded enough to do it yet, I’m thinking, sheesh what do I need to upgrade to be able to move like that lol?

Re: Tracking against AI

I have found Wide camera is causing tracking to be worse, for now if you choose Medium the AI side lunges are not moving more than side to side not way around near behind you,it is crazy how a camera setting causes changes in fighter movement

Re: Tracking against AI

While cameras do influence movement, it's only in relation to the direction of the thumbsticks for forward, back, left, and right. There's no relation to behavior or animation types.

Distance covered by lunges is directly tied to fighter ratings and animation tuning. As far as circling, some AI's have different movement patterns/behaviors that make them try to keep cage control or escape being cornered more aggressively than others, but those didn't change this patch

Re: Tracking against AI

Sorry Skynet but i have to strongly disagree as i tested the Wide with Cinematic and then Medium with Cinematic and there is a drastic difference in the side lunges against AI. Just go against Amanda Ribas Strawweight only on Hard difficulty and it is obvious the range on Wide camera is way more, others tested on discord when i mentioned it and agree and it is not only near the cage but in the middle of the Octagon. And by the way Amanda Ribas is not that type of movement fighter anyway as she stands and bangs most of the time. I do find the smaller weight divisions being so fast it happens more. With all the camera problems at the moment with fighters spinning from being left side of screen to right making you feel dizzy it is just another possible situation where there needs to be tuning.
