Got NHL for the first time in over 20 years - HELP!

Hey all,

Just downloaded an NHL game for the first time in 20+ years and boy have things changed. Figured I'd start a thread where I could ask questions as I learn to play.

First question, what's the best controller setup to use?

Try all the controller settings and go into practice and see which works best for you. Is my best advice for learning that. Also there are youtube videos to search for to help you play.

Personal I've enjoyed learning the stick. It took a while. But the button just didn't do it for me.

I use total control.

It takes a bit to learn and get good. I went into practice and scored over 200 goals to try to learn what's best, how to deke, how different shot types feel, etc.

Same for me. It took a while. But at the end of the day it was worth. I haven't played 2 cycles now. I 99% sure I could pick up the sticks and beat that *** [emoji23]
