Online Dynasty when coordinator

Hey gang, just a question for anyone that can help. Im getting ready to start my online dynasty and it is a coaching carousel one...

We are all starting as HC, but if one gets fired and accepts a OC/DC job somewhere will that person just play the offensive or defensive plays in their games - against computer and online against another member of the dynasty?

When you are coordinator you can still play both sides of the ball
