Angry CPU QB and intentional groundings

I’m getting a little tired of seeing the CPU QB getting some pressure on them and then turning and essentially chucking the ball way out of bounds. I get not taking the sack, but this should be a grounding call because they’re inside of the pocket and a good bit of the time the ball doesn’t go past the sticks.

I see this happen quite a bit but it seems like 95% of the time there's a receiver teeeeechnically in the area (even if it's completely uncatchable). And I'd rather see that than the CPU QB take 11 sacks in a game and complete 85% of it's passes.

To be honest I love it. I’ve been taking advantage of it as well and I’ve gotten away with some would be grounding calls in 14, even though it barely sails over a WR out of bounds.

You can get away with this as well. Last night I inadvertently threw the ball away out of bounds and there wasn't a receiver in the area, I was in the pocket, and the ball did not get back to the LOS. I have no doubt in my mind this was Intentional Grounding in 14 but not in 25. It is just another defect that needs to get fixed.

What I'm getting tired of seeing (same with past Maddens) is I'll flush the QB out of the pocket and he has at LEAST 10-15 yards in front of him and instead of taking off he decides to run parallel to the LOS and ends up throwing the ball out of bounds.

Maybe you should get good?
