Practice Squad - why can't EA get it right?

Anyone else baffled why EA still can't have it so the practice squad rules are true to real life? They STILL have it so only first and second year players can go on the practice squad, when for the past FOUR seasons in the NFL, ANY player including veterans can go on the PS.
I know it seems like a small detail, but between this and not having a Long Snapper position, the realism just isn't there for me.
Come on EA ... if it's in the game.....

its easy if they put that in to the game it will break something else they need a year off to put in a whole new code in but the NFL wont let them what the NFL should had done was let 2k make a game every odd year and madden every even year

I don't see what could possibly break if they changed the coding to allow any player to go on the practice squad. Just seems like a lazy oversight by EA.

It won't break anything. They up it from 0-2 years to 3 years so it can be done but haven't updated since then same as the generic faces way overdue for updates.

Got more faces in CFB than madden. Don't see why we couldn't have those too.

These things shouldn't surprise anyone. EA can't get the bench numbers right in FC either and 2K can't get two-way contracts, GLeauge stuff or bench sizes right either. None of these developers put the time in they need to get things right other than the management games not made buy the big boys.

It’s just lazy, that’s the only explanation. Not having a LS position as well.
