Strategies---

Roster now edited (I decided to keep the one I had been labouring on, rather than the new Coach Head one---my changing of every player attributes has, for instance, the Sharks with a Team rating of 78 OVR)---and playing some games in the Season Mode (experimenting)

Still not entirely satisfied with the CPU tactics: so wondering if I have the CPU teams STRATERGIES set up correct for the CPU:
I choose OVERLOAD for SC1-(believing that to be best for higher skill players?) BUT Im not really seeing it--im seeing a lot of straight "bulldoze" direct to the net--regardless of who is open?

What about BEHIND THE NET?--is that a better option?
Are my ancient old eyes/stuck in my ways brain processing this wrong?

For the 3rd/4th line I use CRASH`t NET (as we say in Northern England lol)--which I think works to some extent for the Grinders.

I would like to set up the CPU strategies to make each CPU team I face a different experience----so ANY nuances/tactics that I should use on selected teams would be greatly appreciated (for instance which teams use the 1-3-1 Trap? (thought I saw the Flyers and the Islanders ?)

Anyway, hope you are all well and enjoying the game.
Peace
Johnny

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe if you have cpu strategy set higher than zero in sliders then the ai will essentially choose their own strategy no matter what you have their team strategy tactics set at. As you're probably aware tho, I don't think the CPU will pull their goalie when trailing with strategy slider at zero so you'd have to live with that tradeoff or manually go in and change it at end of games.
