Player Career on Current Gen, No Full Intros, Update Ten
(Hey, that rhymes.)
I don't ever want to hear EA say "yeah, we heard you" after this. Like, EVER again.
When Full Intros got yanked out of FC 24, Player Career players screamed bloody murder at the downgrade in immersion. The hype train for 25 included a mea culpa that essentially said, yeah, our bad, Full Intros are back, and now they're the user's option.
Well, you can set the option however you want on current gen (PS5/Series), Full Intros still won't roll. This was an issue at launch, and if they haven't fixed it by now, they're not going to. The kicker: Full Intros do roll in every other mode where they're supposed to, on current gen, including Manager Career.
What the heck is it going to take, to get EA to actually, you know, give us back a feature which never should have been taken out, which we've been screaming about for a year and a half, and which has already been fixed for every other mode?
At this point, as far as I'm concerned, this is false advertising. We have been lied to.
I'm just thinking in print here, but I wonder which would be more effective: a formal complaint to the FTC, or a class action lawsuit?
