When Are Face Scans Updated??

Some of these face scans are truly terrible, was wondering when SDS typically does the first one of the season? The Red Sox specifically have some truly horrendous ones; Garrett Crochet has hair and no beard, Romy Gonzalez and Carlos Narvaez are terrible, and im sure other teams have some bad ones too.

Was just curious when an update (if any) happens?

I believe face scans are usually added or updated when they do roster updates. Not sure when the next roster update will be, but that's usually when scans are added

There's not really any rhyme or reason to it. Maybe in the next roster update. Maybe in the next patch. Maybe never. There's no guarantee a player will be updated after launch.

They did a ton of player face/hair updates at the end of June last year for reference but you may see some throughout.

I just loaded today’s new roster update and Nathan Lukes and Easton Lucas of the Jays has a new scan. Assume that there must be some more.

I think some guys just never opt to let SDS scan them. Justin Steele's face has looked weird for years. Before that I remember Kyle Hendricks never looking right for years, either.

Harrison Bader is another one. And obviously Trout up until about 3 or 4 years ago.
