Is anyone else noticing the lack of injuries for their team in Dynasty mode or any other modes?

I've been dishing out injuries to other teams on a fairly regular basis (every 2-3 games someone on the opposing team goes down) which I figure is pretty realistic because in most cases they're just little 7-10 day playable injuries. I also noticed that they seem to be players who are typically injury prone (Forsberg comes to mind form my last game) which is also great.

The only problem I've noticed is that I never get injuries to anyone on my team - in any game mode. I've played probably around 20 play now games with no injuries to the team I'm controlling. I've played around 60 BAP games with the same story, and I'm about 25 games into my Dynasty mode again with no injuries to any players on my team.

I guess what I'm wondering is if there's anyone else who is experiencing the same thing? Is there something that can be done about it via settings or sliders? Any ideas at all?

I've noticed this as well. I've had maybe 3 injuries max on my team in almost a full season of BAP.

Not sure how to fix it though. If i turn up the hittng power, it will turn into the WWF on ice. If I raise shooting power so more guys are hit by pucks, it will mess up the balance in goal scoring.

Yeah that's my problem - I'm using cat's sliders right now for the most part and I love everything about the way the game is playing, I don't want to have to sacrifice that just to get injuries to be more realistic.

It's really a shame too because they finally have injuries happening a little more randomly (at least with the AI), they're not always on those ridiculous hip checks anymore..

I had the lack of injuries on 04 and 01 (showing the last games I played) so I'm not really surprised to see it this year too.

Yeah I posted about it a few weeks ago. I still don't think I've seen one of my players injured yet. Funny thing is that I had more injuries to my own players last year when you could only get injured by the dreaded hip check!

I'm 50 games into my first season in my dynasty and have not had a single injury all season. I've dished out plenty to the CPU, but none have come my way as of yet.

Yeah same here! Though I only had a few injuries last year. I do like this years better as mentioned in that injuries occur all over the place and more frequently (with the AI controlled teams). I'm not saying I want to constantly have 10 guys injured or anything, it'd just be nice to have a balance.

I think NHL 06 had a great balance when it came to injuries - I remember getting into injury troubles and actually having to make trades just to hold my playoff spot. Now that they have the full AHL license and you actually get a chance to play with your prospects before you bring them up to the NHL, it adds a whole new dimension to dealing with injuries on your team; unfortunately they just don't seem to happen.

I have had 2 players get injured in about 20 dynasty games.

I play as the Stars. Jere Lehtinen was injured in the first period, and was only injured for the game. He came back for the next game.

Then a week later (on the schedule) Brendan Morrow was taken down on a boarding call. After the game, I got a pop-up saying that he had a broken leg and would be out for 3 months.

Maybe this is a fluke for me. But I thought 2 injuries in about 20 games was pretty realistic.

Also, I haven't played many dynasty games, because I spend most of my time with the EASHL.
