Who is the overall best player in the NBA this season?

LeBron was closing the gap last season, I think he may take the title away this year. CP3 is also on the verge of being #1.

Based on this year i'd say so far its Wade. He's doing it at both ends of the court and almost seems like he's trying to be a surrogate center in addition to everything else he does.

Kobe Bryant. He finally realized how to win with other stars...at least for 10 games. The triangle looks like the triangle now in LA. Thing of beauty and I hate the Lakers....and Kobe for that matter.

I'd say Wade but since the Heat aren't going to win a title, Kobe is more legitimate. But since Kobe plays on an allstart team, it's not that he's doing anything himself. So maybe LeBron? But then again he's probably not gonna win a title either but he's doing a great job. I'm running out of players...

Re: Who is the overall best player in the NBA this season?

So far it's Bron and Wade in terms of production thus far. Wade has 28.2 5.1 and 7.8 on 49% shooting from the field. He's really made a commitment on defense, averaging 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks so far as well as key assignments at the end of games such as Brandon Roy, etc. LeBron has 29.5 7.8 and 6.9 on 49% shooting from the field with 2.0 steals and .8 blocks. LeBron isn't as disruptive in terms of forcing turnovers but he's a better on-ball defender.
