Fact or Fiction: Opening Day Edition

This week on Operation Sports Fact or Fiction, our two contestants are our resident baseball expert, Jack Hoeffel, and our resident ratings expert, Richard Chavez -- at least those are the titles they are getting today to sound smarter and more important. Though I agree the Yankees will win the AL EAST. They actually didn't add any more payroll. This years payroll is actually less than last years

They actually did add more payroll, considering the length involved with these deals.

Yes, there current salary figure is lower than last year, but they will be shelling out more cash in the long run.

With the firing of GM's CEO for not producing a product up the the max of performance and possibility, someone at EA should bite the dust, just to make Madden fanatics a little-bit happy.

Yanks continue to field one of the worst defensive teams in the league and people wonder why they can't get over the hump. It boggles my mind. Last time I checked scoring 2 more runs per game is the exact same as allowing 2 less runs per game.
