How about letting us customize our in-game music to the degree that NFL 2K5 did... Not just after touchdowns.

Im all for EA making money... But do it with a great game... not horrible gimmicks and lackluster production...

This doesn't confirm anything about DLC for Madden beyond music, nor does it even confirm that the additional downloadable music from EA will even have to be paid for.

Also, if the DLC is worthwhile, why wouldn't you expect to have to pay for it? The developers of said additional content have to make it worth the company's while to implement said content somehow.

Related directly to the article, however, I echo the question of whether it's wise to have a music download service for consoles when the PS3 and XBOX360 already have custom soundtrack support.

Could care less about songs for download honestly. To me that is not DLC IMO. Now if we were talking uniforms, stadiums, modes...ect. Then i would be upset.

No big deal. If this affects songs played in-game, I can think of a handful of songs I would not mind including.

I wonder if situationally played songs are in the game this year. Like are we able to tell the game what song we want played on kickoffs, before 3rd downs, etc.

Who would pay for more music in Madden? I usually turn off all the non NFL songs.

Not a big deal IMO... custom sound tracks are already in the game for Xbox 360...

i have a 360 and ive been paying for my dlc (in the form of gold membership for rosters)
