My last Madden request.

I've been playing madden online for 3 years now and of course there are plenty of problems every year, thats just reality. But its oftentimes not the fact that the game is flawed, but the fact that there are people online who exploit those flaws to the max just to win.

With that said my "last madden request" is to be able to easily view Positive, negative and neutral feedback before I play a person online. I would like to know if this person should be avoided or if he's legit. I think that this would really cutdown on all of the glitchers out there...and im not saying this would be perfect but at least making it readily availabe before you play a person would be great.

What do you guys think? I mean, I know the game is in its final development stages but this is more of an aesthetic anyway.

People will lose a legit game and be pissed and give you a bad feedback score. It's tough to work around this. Best way to do it is penalize "cheesers" with quality AI and programming. Make the game as "real" as possible so that anybody that plays the game outside of "real" will be punished with losses.. Losing because of "cheesing" is the ultimate punishment. They will be forced to play within the rules or else..............lose. After a few losses they will either, not play online anymore, or change. Cheesers play to win and when that stops so does the cheesing. (this post was full of cheese)

Yea this system you are talking bought could case some problems. People could just report because they lost without been cheesed are cheated. Then that would be a unfair judgement agaist that person. It would be a good system to use. But there is some flaws in it. Best thing is. Once you start playing this year online. Anyone cheating you write down there name on paper and report them and avoid them later on.

This is easier said than done. They've been making videogames for years and people will always find a way to "cheese" and exploit things in the game.

And to the other guy I understand what youre saying. But they could also show what they "on average" rate their opponents to give more insight on the type of person youre dealing with.

For what it's worth, MLB 09 The Show banned several users from online play for reoccuring reports and problems sent in by other users.

Though I imagine it would be hard to do this with the sheer number of players online for Madden compared to MLB, I think with what you proposed and a combination of The Show's approach we could at least take one step forward.

If we could see the number of reported problems against a user, we could save ourselves from a few pick up games here and there. So if a user is reported as a "cheeser" 4-5 times you could go ahead and try your luck. On the other hand, if a user has 50 users reporting negative feedback, you may be more wary on entering a game with the user.
