I'm enjoying the game so far much to my surprise but hypothetical here.......

Would gamestop be able to accept a trade in on a game not yet officially released?

I mostly just wanna see the looks on their faces when I bring the game in and ask them

Just speculation, but I'm sure they would take it back from you and then hold it in back for awhile.

No, they will not take it back. They claim that "legally" they can't. I asked them that question when I bought Fight Night about trading in NCAA before it's street date. That is what they are saying around here.

I did a fake attempt just to see the looks on their faces when I got 08. The manager said, "No, because we don't have a value for it yet because it's not out. Even if we did have a value, you don't have it because it's not out for a few more days."

I then pulled it out of my pocket and asked, "Are you sure about that?" and left the store, lol.
