2015 preseason progression is not as bad as i was told.

Being a dynasty player first, progression is a big deal to me. I decided to take a franchise i was playing and advance to 2015. I went to 2015 so the first recruiting class has already graduated. I created a dynasty that i will send invites to the first 11 post so you can see what i will post for your self, download and keep going further in the future or whatever.

psn= smace767 if you want the ,to see progression for your self, without going thru advancing 6 full seasons.

total players in bowl sub div.=8400, starters=2640--1320 on off, 1320 on def.

player rating breakdowns.

19-- 99 ovr
16-- 98 ovr
23--97 ovr
32--96 ovr
26--95 ovr
60-- 94 ovr
74--93 ovr

thats 250 93 or better players out of 2640 starters. most lower rated teams dont have any over 90 and traditional schools are not overly stack more then they should be.

all srs accept

1 jr out of 19=99 ovr
2 jrs out of 16=98 ovr
3 jrs out of 23 =97 ovr
5 jrs out of 26 =95 ovr

spd totals

97 spd= 2 players both cbs
96 spd = 4 players - 2 hb, cb, wr
95 spd=12 players - 6 hb, 3 wr, 3 cb
94 spd=25 players -13 hb, 7 cb, 3 wr(?), fs, ss

fastest qb - 3 qbs at 89 spd
fastest olb - 1 91, 2 90 spd
DE - 2 88 spd, 5 87 spd

99 ovr players- 19 no skill players, 2 cb 2 olb, 2 mlb, 1 ss, all others oline or dline. 18 srs, 1 jr.

highest skill players
97 ovr hb 96 sp 99 acc 91 btk
97 ovr hb 90 sp 99 acc 95 btk
97 ovr qb 82 spd 87 thp 95 tha

teams- lower teams still have nobody rated over 89

Fla has 5- 99 ovr players- 2 T, cb, ss, olb all srs
fastest player 95 spd cb, 95 spd wr.

USC highest rated 99 ovr c, skill player 91 ovr hb

Texas highest rated player- 98 ovr cb, 98 ovr LT, skill 96 QB 76 spd, 96 ovr wr 93 spd

Ohio St highest rated player, - 96 ovr hb, 93 spd, 96 ovr LE, 96 ovr RG, all srs

Purdue highest player- ovr 89 c, highest skill player, 83 hb 83 spd

Vanderbilt highest 92 ovr hb 87 spd, next 10 highest players non skill positions. Next highest skill player 81 ovr hb.

c Michigan highest player 91 ovr C, highest skill, 87 ovr hb,87 spd.

All in all in 2015 the highest rated players are SRs and oline / dline players, mostly centers. There are a lot of high rated cbs but they are not all fast. Skills are still unique and ratings are different for every player all 95 ovr hb are not the same. some fast, some power, some balanced.

All the dynasties are different some have more pronoucned issues than others, that has been my experience with it. But anytime you have double the number of 90+ overall players on the base roster there is an issue.

Many dynasties I have simulated and checked have had over 60- 99 overall players years in. Sorry but it is still bad no matter how you slice it.

True but if you look at the players the issue could be how the ovr is calculated because i was led to believe that all ratings were maxed. which is far from the case.
In fact there are a bunch of players that are 93 that are better looking players for certain offenses.
The best spread qb was only a 92 ovr sr. who had 87 spd 88 thp and 86 tha.
And as stated non of these highest rated players are skill players. only 3 skill players rated 97. everyone else was lower. the base roster has many 99 ovr skill players. tebow, bradford, gresham, mccoy, dez bryant i think is 99.

So what if they aren't skill players? The line of scrimmage is where games are won and lost. You cant say that this isnt a problem because these players dont touch the ball as much. They still have a huge effect on the outcome of football games.

True I see your point but, many 3*stars come in to this game with an overall rating of 75-79. They progress sometimes at an average of say 5 points a year, a Offensive lineman who is 75 overall will be close to being 95 overall and in some cases 99 overall by his senior year. How do you tell the difference between this guy and a 5 star recruit that is 99 overall, you don't. Maybe skill position guys will have higher speed ratings overall than then lesser rated recruits, but other positions there will be hardly any difference at.

Another problem is that computer simulated games will be effected by the large number of even matchups. So teams like Troy state will win the national title( I have seen this) and have 6 star prestige, paridy will be ubiquitous, and no team really gets worse.

Re: 2015 preseason progression is not as bad as i was told.

Basically ever team will be identical save a few players who are faster than some others, but other than that the teams will be similar. It will be like this: Since Florida State and Troy State both have A overall teams in my current dynasty, I will not be able to tell the difference in any of the players besides some speed thats it, Troy will be identicle to FSU on the offensive line. Thats a problem I have seen in my simulated dynasties. If the scale went to 110 it would be alright, but these high rated guys peak at 99 and the 3 stars(many of them) catch up. I had 468 players rated in the 90's in year 5 of one dynasty.
