What injuires have u had How do u overcome them in your Franchise?

I am 7-4 with the Texans on my first franchise. Steve Slaton just went down for 10 weeks with a broken collarbone. I had him hurt before but reset the game cause of it. Now i will just take it and I signed Edgerrin James. I have not played a game yet with him. But i do not expect him to be as good as slaton. He was less then 100 yards away from 1000 with the season more then half over.

Its tempting to just restart the game, when a major player goes down. I will see how I do without Slaton.

Isn't that the challenge?

I didn't know people still restarted their games because of something like this ..

Maybe i was sore loser for restarting the other time he got hurt. But last time was 3 weeks this time 10. So i think its even now. Enough about me. Just talk about the post not me restarting the one time. Which i wont do again.

I lost McKelvin on the first play of the game for the season...in my franchise before the Favre/Vick roster update came out...I didn't know what to do, luckily I wanted to restart with the roster update, so he's back now...

But, I would have just made do with what I had. Put him on IR and see where it goes from there, hoping a young guy can step up....

and play a lot of zone...

I had Clements out for 5 weeks, and Gore out for 7 weeks .. I went 2-5 during that stretch ..

I love running the ball and controlling the clock but was unable to generate any running game with Robinson or Coffee ..

LOL,oh jeeeeeesus dude.....I like it when a realy good guy goes down for longer than a week or 2 it adds more challenge to the game and thats when you becoming a good owner and coach come.My defense sucks i use the saints and we had sharper go down in the last pre season game for 12 weeks and I rode with it.And yeah the cpu was throwing all over the place but it gave my rookie a chance to step up and get some playing time and it gives you somthing to look foward to mid season in my case for when he comes back.
