What is your setup?

Just curious what you guys run with when racing. Do you have a racing chair and everything or do you just go w/ a standard wheel and pedals, while sitting on the sofa.

Just trying to get some ideas. I have the 360 wireless wheel, but it really sucks, sitting w/ it on your lap, it's just everywhere.

Would like to get a good wheel for the PS3, for GT. Not sure if I want the stick shifter G25, do they sell just the wheel and pedals?

Anyways, pics would be cool!

Re: What is your setup?

Driving Force GT wheel and pedals.

I built a beefed up version of a sawhorse table to clamp my wheel to. Wider table top, legs are out further so it wont wobble when I steer and its easy to store if you need to. I'll get some pictures up sometime this week

Re: What is your setup?

All I use is a Logitech Momo wheel and pedals. The wheel clamps onto my desk, and the pedals are underneath on the floor. My chair is a high-back office chair.

Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done...

*edit* Here's a pic:

Re: What is your setup?

I just use a controller, I've never had enough money to buy a wheel and all that :/

Re: What is your setup?

Steve:

The G25 is sold only as a complete package: Wheel, pedals, shifter.

Honestly, I think the G25 is overkill for GT5. Get a Driving Force GT for half the price unless you're serious about PC sims. Very good wheel for the money.

I use a Logitech Driving Force Pro clamped to my work desk, with pedals underneath, for iRacing.

Take care,
PK

I have a logitceh G25 and a playseat evolution. It's very light weight and easy to move from in front of the tv to the pc

Re: What is your setup?

I have a Logitech MOMO that I clamp to the computer desk. Excellent wheel...I wish it would work for PS3. I use the controller for F1: CE, and DiRT. I have a dinky wheel for original Xbox that I hate.
