I don't think I have ever seen Madden or NCAA have good logic towards franchise scheduling after year one. Many teams will have 6 game home stands and 6 game road trips. Is there something that can be done to possibly fix this or is this and issue that would be to hard to fix?

Been that way for as long as i can remember. Kinda kills franchise mode when you open the season with 6 str8 home games followed by 4 away games then 2 home and then the rest away.

They missed that too i guess.....for like the 10 str8 yr.

I think and always have thought, the issues with madden go WAY deeper than they let on.

It was promised this was fixed in a Q&A Blog!!! Better be in Patch 2

That's weird, I haven't noticed that, at least with NCAA, my teams have home and away games mixed up normal like-- this is the first Madden I have purchased on the next gen, but that's a real downer if that's the case.

Yep...This was supposedly fixed. I had to reset before starting year 2 several times before I got a satisfactory schedule.

And even then, I play Baltimore twice in a three week span.

It is something I can get over with but when we're told something is fixed it is a bit of a letdown when it isn't

It's unfortunate, but offline just isn't a priority guys. The devs are going to work on what they're going to work on. *shrugs*

I don't like any home stand/road trip longer than 2 weeks, and I hate playing the same team twice in a month.

I end up saving at the end of preseason & load/quit cycling franchise until I get a respectable schedule...or close enough to one at a point where I'm tired of loading and just want to play again.

This has been a problem since franchise mode started. Schedules were never generated correctly.

In my current franchise year, my schedule goes as follows:
- Home (1)
- Away (3)
- Bye
- Away (1)
- Home (3)
- Away (4)
- Home (4)

Granted, its not usually that bad, but its disappointing regardless.
