Depends on what you want. If the "real" NFL is what matters, go with 2K5. Presentation is top notch. AllPro is good for playing but doesn't have the NFL license.

Which one is "better" is all subjective. However the on the field gameplay is better with 2k8. Everything else 2k5.

thanks for the post, does nfl 2k5 have a franchise mode like madden cause i never played nfl 2k5 cause i might get nfl 2k5 or all pro 2k8.

Honestly why not get both it will cost you all of 6 bucks! No doubt that's what I did and I enjoy them both.

well i just bought 2k8 and its a nice step foward. the animation is more realistic and the graphics when your viewing replays look real nice. but just after a few games i never played it again, even though its better young to rice gets boring fast.
