it was Michael Jordan's staple. Not Kobe's. I've never even noticed Kobe doing it. Not as often as MJ.
I think if it was something Kobe was known for, it would have a chance. But, I doubt many people see someone wagging their tongue and thing "Trying to be like Kobe, I see."

yes...you can see it during when the player is on the free throw line...players do have tongues at least...
