question regarding GM mode

I was wondering to goalies at all get fatigued or tired from starting? Like I usually start my backup on the other end of a B2B, but is it even necessary?? Also any other tips that might help during the early stages of GM mode would be apprieciated. Thanks

I don't think there has ever been any "official" confirmation one way or the other, at least I haven't seen any, but I don't think goalies ever get tired.

Having said that, I would still do it for realism's sake.

Indeed...and for what its worth, the CPU plays their backups so it evens out. It would almost be unfair for you to start your #1 every game, considering the CPU doesn't.

Yeah, this is a "house rules" issue. You could start your number one goalie every day (and twice on Sunday) and he would play just as well. One of the few faults to the game this year.

I change them up to keep it real, & to get xp points for my backup.
If I have a B2B I'll use my backup in one.

Cool. Thanx guys!
Yeah I treat it like its the real thing anyways. My backup starts about every 5th or 6th game. I looked at all the goalies on there and their backups and thats about the ratio. Plus like I said, I do start him in one of the B2B's......unless whomever starts the first nets a shutout, then I usually try the hot hand for game two! haha

Re: question regarding GM mode

Yeah whenever the cpu switches up my goalies, I just go with it.

If I remember right, I believe my backup has 22-25 starts, with just two games remaining in my season. Besides... imo, it kinda makes things even a bit more interesting with your backup in there from time to time.
