CPU Lineup Changes?

Hi guys.

How do you fellas see the CPU handling day to day lineups?
Do they rest guys?
Switch it up?
Bench guys like Big Papi vs. tough lefties?

The CPU management is pretty awful. In my Cards franchise, which I have halted until patch 2 is out, Colby Rasmus is constantly shifted to the leadoff spot, against LHP as well.

Colby has very low contact ratings and only average speed (his speed is in the 80s and it should be higher), but the CPU wants him to bat leadoff and Yadier Molina to be the slowest 2 hitter in the league.

Until this issue is patched, this will be an annoyance for franchise mode.

My player has MUCH worse AI management than franchise mode from what I've seen and read from others.

Yeah, My Player lineup management is pretty awful. With the Nationals, I am a shortstop, which means Ian Desmond never plays. I changed myself to RF so he would be in the lineup, but I didn't like playing outfield as much. I then changed to 2B in place of Adam Kennedy. They still use low-rated rookies in the outfield, even though one of Elijah Dukes or Nyger Morgan ends up on the bench in their place. That and the fact that you never get any free agents in the offseason.

Billy Butler never plays because for some reason 2k changed A. Gordon to first base. Gordon was sent to the minors to switch from playing third base to the outfield not first. Bloomquist plays DH.
