Its a sacrifice for the greater good. People yall need to accept that Madden is not going to be what we thought it would be this gen, cause anything you have ever wanted in Madden (as far as game play), if its not in the game yet, then it wont be, cause they cant do it with their current engine. So with that being said, I think they should just continue giving us gimmicks and roster updates every year, while they work on the next gen Madden. Cause it takes time to learn how to get the most out of new technology (assuming they are going to use new tech). So hopefully that is what they are doing already, and we can get a jaw dropping Madden game in 2013 or 14 kinda like how it was when Madden 2001 came out. Agree?

This. No one even knows when the next gen consoles are coming out, if ever. We're stuck with what we have.

Same thing I was thinking. Nobody even knows when the new batch of systems are coming out. The Madden team needs to just make the best of what they have, which is what they've been doing since Madden 10. I just think Tiburon trying their best, is still just not really that good

I kinda wish they had a chance to redesign Madden from the ground up. I have Madden 08 on PC and I still see similarities. I'm not going into details, but I think EA slacks really hard when it comes to innovation. Example, my brother had NCAA 06 Basketball and it has a retro mode. It was the exact same game, but in 2D. Maybe they meant to do that, but I think they've only been adding a 3D environment to the existing engine. Probably why some problems can't be fixed.

If they could make a great game on the last gen, they can do it on this one. They just haven't.

The question I have is would the Madden series be better off if the design was just handed over to another studio?
