Kickoff returns are way too easy...again

Once again it looks like we're going to have to supersim or just not touch the controller our own kickoff returns, simply because it is far too easy to return every single one of them for a TD. Why wasn't this fixed? Playing on All-Pro, and Mike Thomas can take everything back from the 1-yard line just by taking it to the outside.

Lol I can't get past the 20 what level you playing on? I play on allpro and kickoff returns are hard.

i dont have the game yet but in the demo they were super hard on all pro

I have had the game since Saturday morning and in the dozens of games I've played, I've seen one kickoff return for a touchdown. Kickoffs are definitely not too easy, and I find that it is more often better to take a knee if the kick goes even one yard into the end zone than it is to try to return it.

I agree I noticed this as well. I wouldn't think they'd get easier from Demo to Retail, but who knows.

From my own experience (I've had the game for a week now), kickoffs seem to start out as very difficult but become quite easy once you get a feel for it.

I remember when I first got it, my friend and I marveled at how difficult and realistic the kick return game had become. "Wow, we'll actually have to consider taking a knee now!"

Then I got a hang of it, and in 13 games online so far, I swear I've returned at least 10 kickoffs for TDs with Felix Jones, including three in a single game.

One of the tricks seems to be sucking everyone into the middle and then bursting for the outside.

This definitely needs a patch IMO.

That was how I felt too in the demo, "This is as good as NCAA's return game this year, now if you try to bring it out from the 1 every time it won't work and you'll get stuffed before the 20."

Now you just hit the outside and it is 6 every time.

It needs to be patched, but of course it won't be.

I have already stopped using the spin move after catching a pass with Thomas. It's so fast, it's like a half second and he's back facing front and ready to run.
