TNT/NBA2k Intergration: When's it going to happen?

it almost seems inevitable to me, at least in my eyes. the espn integration for the competitor is great, but tnt/turner sports I find is superior in their presentation and commentary.

I hope nba 2k in the future works out a plan to fully integrate tnt, tnt halftime,ej's neato stat of the night(but it being game related) and inside the nba into future installments of nba 2k.

The panel can feature, ernie, chris webber, ahmad rashad, kenny(if he's not doing that other nba game anymore)

I'm just throwing stuff out there.

Anyone else wold like to see it? and How soon do you think 2k will make it happen, if its going to happen?

I'm thinkin nba 2k14, we should have fully integrated tnt/turner sports integrated in ticker news, tnt transitional slides, all that fancy stuff

edit: ooh I just realized, does having a game sponsored by a sports company, espn, or tnt take away from video game endorsments? All replays screen i've seen have been sprite? and little things like that..would that take away from 2k? or perhaps add more?

I wouldn't say its inevitable but it should happen. I'm sure most of us would love to see it, Harlan has been doing 2k games for numerous years already. You've seen K.Smith C.Miller and Sager in previous 2k games.

Have a Harlan and a TNT color commentator do the broadcast, a short halftime show with EJ ala C.Berman with NFL2K5. Having a 3 man half time show sounds complicated and EJ just giving you an update on whats going on seems easier.

You could also use the rights to Turner sports for MLB2K and have have the TBS layout/presentation.

I doubt having a TNT sponsor would remove other sponsors, they would still want to promote there products in the game.

To me, none of the previous 2K basketball games that had license - was as good as 2K10 with no license. It was great in NFL 2K5, but I'd take 2K10 (presentation-wise) over any 2K basketball game that had the ESPN license.

I didn't like the commentary in 2K4-2K5, so to me, having a license and official commentators don't mean a thing.

But that's only my opnion.

I don't want TNT or ABC licenses.

I want generic local broadcast with voice actors instead of big names. They really need to get some voice actors who can work with the crew more on commentary.

This would really add realism to the Association in addition to a TNT or ESPN license.

This Clark Kellog character isn't cutting it. He doesn't even seem to mesh with Harlan at all, where as Kenny did..and I'm not sure if kenny ever worked with harlan courtside.. so it shows.

IMO, adding real licenses will add on to the realism if it doesn't take away from the gameplay that is.

ESPN licenses was never fully implanted in games, especially the competitors. I feel its due to ESPN's fault, not theirs. I imagine tnt would be more laxed since this is sort of like an tnt product, it basically it is..just unofficially.

yeah, but sprite replay and stuff, wouldn't that cut out the tnt overlay?

Still, I agree with you, if done right, it can be used great.

I'm tired of BSPN. I wish turner sports had a 24/hr sport network.

to add on your comment, I do think its inevitable, preferably before the espn contract expires for elite. 2k is good at spotting things early.

if elite got the license of turner sports over 2k, i'd die lol
