I love franchise, but what good is a deep franchise mode if I have to deal with "tumbleweed tackling" when I play the games ?

Seeing as how i dont play online at all, and I didnt have consecutive hit tackling last gen but still enjoyed playing Madden, I will say franchise mode.

Since Next Gen Madden Franchise is not even up to par with last gen franchise, I'm reduced to playing "Play Now" now games all year round.

And we shouldnt have to "choose" either or.
What do the people who work on the Franchise stats/features have to do with the people who work on player animations.
That's two separate departments.

Even though I really want a great franchise mode, I would rather see defense in general fixed. If you limit it to just tackling, then I have to say franchise mode as more important.

Tackling is more important, franchise is overdo. If I were EA, I would be working on franchise and presentation at this point with minor work on game play. While game play is important, Madden is stale. This is of course just one man's opinion.

I agree, stick with basics and build a great game first, the side stuff like franchise can be always amended later b/c at least it's fundamentals are solid for game's overall replay value (although not as good as it could be if EA just listened to fans).

If you think Madden is stale then wouldn't you want consecutive hit tackling? Wouldnt you want gameplay first?
