It creates a wider gap between lesser players and stars.

So if a guy is really weak with puck handling, with that slider maxed, you'll notice he loses the puck a great deal more when deking. Just like a guy like Gaborik will be a magician out there because his attributes are so good.

i dont really know much about gregory campbell, but I sure as hell hope he is as good in real life for the Bruins as he is in this game. He flies in this game. Is he really that good??

If so, the Bruins didnt even use any vasoline when they raped Florida in that Wideman deal.

Yeah, he's a great checking center with some decent offensive skills.

Money do you think leaving this slider in the middle causes players to play more like their real life abilities?

I think last year, that was the consensus. Leave the slider in the middle. If you raise it, it's going to not only increase your superstars, but it also increases the lower players as well. There is not distinction in the player ratings for this slider to know who to boost attributes to.

really? the way I read the games description is that it increases the difference between the best and worst players. meaning attributes have a greater effect on the individuals performance, i dont think that it boosts EVERY players attributes, that would be pointless. basically say player A is a 90 in one category and player B is an 80 in the category on default. When you max the attribute effect it makes player A play with a 95 in the category while player B plays with an 82. (hypothetically) Originally only a 10 point difference, now theres a 13 point difference. I also think certain #'s prob get rounded down, say at like 70 all those stats and 70 below would be reduced to increase the effect of the attributes on the game. I'm just throwing out these numbers as an example of how i think it works.

Re: Attribute effect???

I know one thing...with this slider maxed, star players are absolutely unstoppable, especially since the poke check isn't extremely effective.

God forbid a star get the puck near the crease...
