SUB Steve Smith as your Kick Returner in your online depth chart...

All I know is that had 1 kickoff return TD in my 21 games. Steve Smith has 3 return TDs in the last 2 games.

YOU DO THE MATH.

To those that say it's not SIM to use Steve Smith on return duty, reference the first time he touched the ball in the NFL. Return for TD. I'm better than average at returning kicks, but with STEVE I look phenomenal.

So this goes out to all the Panther's Users for online and offline play...

USE STEVE!!!

Afterwards, hand the ball to Deangelo and run away from Steve a few times to give him some rest. You'll want that speed for PA streaks.

Look man that works and all but the only way you can call that sim is if you go back in time about 5 years...It's been quite awhile since hes done return duty mainly because a majority of injuries come from the special teams department. They put quick young players back there not the dominant threat at receiver no matter how quick he is. But for video game purposes.....yes this works well

great speed is almost required to have any chance of taking it back. Top speed guys like Smith turn up your chances greatly.

As an avid Panthers fan, I make it a point to watch every Panther game either live on Sunday, via NFL Network, or online. Now that I live in Detroit, it's tougher, but I still make it a point to see how my team is doing.

In close games Steve Smith is often subbed in in situations where the defense has had a successful series pinning the offense inside their own 10, out trots Steve Smith to return a punt.

That being said, we haven't had a decent return game in years... If I recall, taking Steve off of the return duties has alot do do with the lack of production of the return teams and the poor starting field position.

When I play Madden, I don't care what John Fox does with the real team. I focus on what I would do with them. If I were head coach, Steve Smith would run back kickoffs. It's obvious the coaches need to find some other way to get him the ball - having him triple teamed on every play while they wait for someone else to make a play isn't working.

I personally dont like my starters returning kicks or punts. I usually trade for a KR for example i traded for Josh Cribs in my first franchise and had a lot of success in the return game. Just wouldnt risk Smith getting injured.

In madden 10 i had a kick, punt, rushing,passing TD and rec TD in one game WITH STEVE SMITH ,also a blocked extra point in the same game! an online ranked match i may have a picture but it was close to 600 total yards. I used the panthers online ranked 109 straight games. This year madden 11 not as much but i drafted him in franchise. And overall you can use him greatly i those aspects but this year i like a little more speed and acc. rating but bottom line smith is a beast i also like to use the multiple return formations this year and use speed and a decent handed hb for blocking or not being scared of a fumble!! im an avid fan check my card picture with cat man and we were on fox that game!! cheers
