NCAA for ps3 is now on sale for $47.00..is it worth buying if I already have Madden?

That depends on how much you need that $47. To me it's worth the $60 that I paid. If you get it make sure it has a valid Online Pass thing as well otherwise you won't get the tuner sets.

I'd be buying it new from a retail store so the online pass isn't an issue...and the 47 dollars isn't the issue either. I am basically trying to figure out if I'd just end up having two football games with frustrating glitches and issues or if I'd actually be able to set madden on the shelf for awhile until real patches are available and actually enjoy NCAA.

I love the recruiting aspect in NCAA. It adds an element of strategy outside of mere X's and O's. Targeting recruits, comparing their skills, calling them with pitches, playing your program against others, offering scholarships and scheduling campus visits, etc, can all become very fun and consuming.

If you like these sort of things and the atmosphere of the college game (fight songs, rivalries, bowl games, etc), you can't go wrong with NCAA 11.

Well, 3 patches in now and a good set of sliders (Playmaker's Varsity Slow Speed) and I am very happy with the game. Regarding the sliders, they are the key to true enjoyment of this game. I'm actually a pretty good player and am extremely surprised with the gameplay on the varsity setting. With Playmaker's sliders it's very realistic and actually pretty tough.

Yeah, I'm not a stranger to sliders. I need a football game to play and Madden just isn't doing it for me, first year I'm saying this. I'm going to end up owning NCAA, Madden, nhl 11, nba 2k11, and most likely fifa....I don't think I have time to even enjoy all of them lol, but I guess that's a good complaint.
