With Nolan overseeing the project news comes today that it has it's director. Zack Snyder is directing and the script is said to like Superman Returns, have a Donner connection. This time with General Zod. Does that mean Routh will be back to reprise the role as The Man Of Steel? Let the talks begin....

Don't know how I feel about Routh, because I hated Superman Returns so much in general.

I say they find someone else, just to remove the reboot as far away from Superman Returns as possible.

Its been too long since Superman Returns, so I think they would recast that spot. John Hamm should be Supes.

Not really sure how I feel about Zack Snyder directing a Superman movie, doesn't really seem to match up.

Sort of disappointed with the villain, i could careless for Zod. Having Snyder with Nolan overlooking sounds freaking awesome but sort of keeping that Returns connection is a waste. I like Routh, but i would of liked a brand new guy to accommodate a reboot.

But Nolan knows what to do, everyone at first thought The joker was a joke but he made the movie, lets see how they handle Zod.

I know people were skeptical of Nolan casting Heath Ledger as The Joker, but I don't remember anybody saying they would not want The Joker in the movie regardless.

I hate Superman but this is sounding interesting. Can't wait to see how the movie looks. Zack Snyder always has awesome looking movies.

I always saw zack as more of a cinematographer (and a great one at that) then a director.

I fully expect this to be over the top and not in a good way. This is the supe's I wanna see:
