I just bought BB

What should I expect... I got the PS3 version off gamefly for $18... I figured not a bad deal... We actually I bough NHL 10 too with it and had $5 off so i got both games for $22... So basically I look at i got BB for $11.

What should I expect from this game? I'm pretty excited for it. I didnt buy madden this year but I love NCAA.

Expect for their to be a steep learning curve. The more you've played of other football video games, the longer it may take. I was stoked for this game and pre-ordered it. But it took me about 2 weeks before I finally started to get the hang of it and figure it out. Basically, I had to undo my 10+ years of football video game instincts.

However, once you reach that point this game is a blast to play! I'm so addicted to it now that when I go back and play NCAA 10 it just seems boring.

Granted, NCAA 10 has more features/presentation, the core gameplay of Backbreaker I'm totally in love with. Also I love the lighting and atmosphere in game. The graphics are amazing. Things look so real compared to NCAA/Madden I feel (not talking player models).

Before jumping into a game go through and do all of the training. Also, if you're playing with the patch, make sure to user catch every pass (hold R2/RT and pull towards you on the right stick). Running is really tough with the patch, and some plays just don't work. Check out the official forums (http://forum.backbreakergame.com/showthread.php?t=10529) for tips on running. There are no injuries/fatigue/progression, but I think there is still lots of fun to be had from this game if you accept it for what it is: a strong base that Natural Motion hopes to build a franchise on. It just doesn't have the bells and whistles of NCAA/Madden.

Dont expect the game to be perfect but expect the game to be fun and completely different than what you have played before. Do not compare it to games you have played before. Just play the game for what it is, and dont expect the AI to be the smartest in the world.

Well, I wish you wouldn't have wasted your money. This game is horrific, and you'll see soon enough. It's fun at first, but after about 4-5 games the new-ness wears off and the games flaws start to shine through. Anyway, if you want some money plays that work everytime cause the AI is ******** just send me a message.

I respectfully disagree, especially after the Greathouse patch. I've played a ton of games and still find it fun and a refreshing take on football. Yes it has flaws, but, at least for me, they aren't game breaking. BEFORE the patch, however, the game was near unplayable due to the ineptness of the CPU.

The patch really made this game loads better. Just my opinion, though.
