Top 5 Players to watch

Who do you think are the top 5 players to watch on TV (not the best) in the NBA today?

Mine:

1. Kobe Bryant
2. Lebron James
3. Derrick Rose
4. Kevin Durant
5. Dwight Howard

Honorable Mention:
Steve Nash (Hope he gets traded to a contender)

Re: Top 5 Players to watch

-Kevin Durant - he always seems completely likely to go for 50.

-LeBron James - as much as I don't like him, watching him against Detroit in that game 7 in 2007 was enough to make me tune in whenever he's on TV.

-Ray Allen - he seems to have 2 or 3 games every year that just make you go "wow". Game 2 of the Finals last year. Game 6 against Chicago in 2009.

-Stephen Curry - I have loved this guys game since the first time he lit up a scoreboard at Davidson. He's another one of those Durant guys (to me). You never know when he may explode for 35 or 40 points.

-Vince Carter - he's my favorite player of the this past generation of players, so whenever he's on TV, I tune in. I felt like I never got to see him in Toronto or New Jersey, so now that he's on more with Orlando and Phoenix, I try to catch his games.

This is pretty much "your favorite players" thread.

No, not really.

....as for my top five "must watch", it's probably Nash, Griffin, Durant, Dirk, and Amare.

Re: Top 5 Players to watch

Just let me watch Blake Griffin and I'll be happy.

But you can also throw these guys on the list

Kobe-I love watching him when he's in the flow, his footwork is just so nice.

Joakim Noah- I love how he plays hard all the time. He brings the energy and has everyone seen that Cleavland sucks video clip on Youtube? Hilarious.

Carmelo Anthony - When he mixes his post game with the mid range jumpers it's just beautiful. I'll always remember the sweet post spin move he had on LBJ last year when the Nugs beat the Cavs last year in OT.

Amare Staudomire- I was never a huge fan but what he's doing with the Knicks this year, in my eyes makes more than legit. Balanced offensive attack, and even though that 3 against the Celtics was a hair past the buzzer, that was a bigtime shot. I'm now a fan.

*I really don't find watching Kobe, LeBron, Wade, etc. very exciting. Since they are on every other night.
