8th of march coming and the postman delivers the show 11.

How do you tell your wife that : no, you are not coming to dinner, no, you are not going to the cinema or shopping next 14 days.Yes you have to "work" till to the middle of the night. No you didnt hear the phone and the doorbell.
what do you talk to the message box when your girlfriend calls:such a lot of homework, extrashifts in your job.

thanks for good ideas and hope i see a lot of you guys online ( even if i have not the feeling to be better in the next show

I already dropped the first hint a couple of days ago. I said "oh, baseball season is starting in a couple of weeks...that means The Show 11 comes out early March".

She basically knows what that means, hahaha.

haha.... my wife has known since MLB 06' that release day means no interruptions. Its a holiday for me along with opening day

Sounds cliche but, be honest and tell her the truth ahead of time, If she doesn't like it oh-well at least you where honest & forthcoming(communication)It's not like you are not going to play regardless of how she feels. Best to cover your a**.

I'm lucky to be married to a wife (of 18 years) that understands my hobby. I dont drink, smoke etc and really my only 'vice' is I dont get disturbed during NFL Sunday, during MLB games, Im a gamer and more importantly an early adopter.

She does her own things like freedom to yard sale, shop etc and do what she loves to do.

So knows The Show is on the horizon. I guess another important thing is I always keep family #1 and gaming after so it's all good.

My wife already knows... she saw the Torture Trailer (she's an SF native) and said "well I know what you'll be doing on March 8th"

She's actually a baseball fan too, and will probably eventually ask to try it out. I will actually be on assignment in Houston on March 8, so I will have the game all to my lonesome

If you are asking for advice: just tell her you want to tap into your inner child for a few days, and it would be great if she understood LOL.
