I wasn't quite sure where to post this. Last night I played a game against the New York Mets against R.A. Dickey. The strike to ball ratio was 89 strikes and 13 balls. I chased only 6 pitches that game. I thought that perhaps it was just one of those games that happens every once in a while but nonetheless I decided to play the game over again. Well, very similar results. This time 94 strikes and 11 balls with me chasing only 4 pitches. I know that there are only a few primary knuckleball pitchers in baseball and you may only face two or so a season, and this could be overlooked very easily... but, has anybody else noticed this? What is the typical ball to strike ratio for a knuckleball pitcher? I always assumed knuckleballer or not, they throw nearly as many balls out of the strike zone as anyone else.

If this thread somehow leads to the developers making a change to my most effective pitcher I will not be happy!

Come on, are you really saying his strike to ball ratio is nearly 90%? lol Nobody is that good, let alone enough to throw that many strikes and not get bombed! No offense.

A little Dickey bias? lol You're the Mets I assume for your team so I don't blame you for not wanting the settings changed. Play against Dickey for one game and let me know what the box score looks like, even the strike to ball ratio. That would be helpful. I'm not requesting or demanding some sort or patch to change that, I don't even know if it really is an issue. I just thought feedback from others who've went up against the knuckleballers may have fill us in on how their games went.

took me some practice to get used to hitting the Knuckler but after Im tuned in its bombs away. that K ration is ridulous though lol

See, I don't mind having a hard time hitting against Dickey. He is a decent pitcher. I flew out a bunch. It's just people work so hard on sliders and roster adjustments to keep them consistent to real life statistics, that to me seems sort of out of place with all the work people have done (Who work for the game and Show heads like us on this forum) I just thought somebody else would have mentioned it already. Unless it was just a 2 game fluke.
