New and Improved Slider/User Tuner Thread

I have not played FNC since the last patch dropped, but I am interested and have been following the feedback here and am anxious to distill as much of what I have been reading here into a "How To..." for getting the game from the last patch to the point of "the best game we can have at this point given all the tools we have available." Let me preface everything else said here by saying I am referring solely to "offline" Legacy mode.

To that end, a couple of questions. It seems that editing boxers tendencies has been somewhat successful in fixing the remaining issues with head/body punching. For those that have done this, do you think the sliders are working effectively enough to "fix" what's left that is wrong with the game from a tendency standpoint?

And now a few others in particular order:

1) Has anyone been successful in getting realistic cut/damage from sliders?

2) It seems to me that the best way to test slider effectiveness and accuracy is by running multiple CPU v CPU matches and editing one fighter at a time rather than editing both simultaneously and fighting yourself. Any thoughts on this or any other methodology issues for testing slider set ups?

3) Besides the damage issue that still seems to remain and the tendencies, what you feel is still broken about the game?

The goal, as I said, is to come up with a procedure whereby someone purchasing the game for the first time and applying the latest patch/tuner can get the most realistic offline experience as quickly as possible. The final version of this would include step by step instructions for editing each boxer if necessary and suggested values for each along with suggested difficulty settings etc. It should look remarkably like the old slider thread but updated for use with FNC.
