Auto-Manage

Is there anyway I can keep the computer from keep switching my lineup and pitching rotation around? I have auto-manage turned off for the major league but it keeps doing it.
Help?

Re: Auto-Manage

Unfortunately No. Auto-manage is bugged this year.

This was on the bug-wishlist since day 1. But when the patch came they either didnt notice it on the list, or were unable to fix it.

The best I am able to manage it is to keep a pad and paper with my order and lineup, and adjust every pre game I play or super-sim.

Somewhat time consuming, but I gotta have an accurate lineup....

Welp, that is a game changer for me. Time to trade it in I guess I was severely disappointed with this game this year. Waiting for EA to make another one, sigh
2k gets rid of the series they made best and buy exclusive license on ****ty ones.

Well; I wouldnt go that far...

Im not going to dive too much into politics here...

But I am still able to enjoy certain aspects of this game. Since auto-manage and check swings are bugged I only bother playing MyPlayer mode as a Pitcher. And I enjoy that mode and by only playing MyPlayer pitcher mode I avoid the complications associated with these major bugs.

(It is a shame that gamers are sold a non-functioning baseball game IMO for several years in a row now.... but things have a way of handling themselves and other baseball options are/will be available.)

EDIT: 2K's baseball series the last few years is a pinnacle example of why I never buy games new off the shelf anymore... Do your homework before paying your hard earned $$ on any game, also buy used if you can so if you do buy a lemon, you dont loose as much $$)

Re: Auto-Manage

I might be wrong here, but if you turn off auto manage for minor leagues (I left minor league injury management on) it does less roster adjustments etc.

It still messes a good deal with the lineups, but you'll have the same roster. I hate calling up a pitcher or something and have him being sent down if I sim a game or something. This fixes that I think
