I'm hosting a Madden Release Party in Ann Arbor, MI starting at 9PM on Aug 29th and running til the midnight release. We will be playing Madden, tournament style for a full 3-hours before the game comes out. For the event I'll have to purchase several copies of the game a few hours earlier than they would otherwise be available.

Outside of that, I might be able to get a copy earlier, but it wouldn't be the same. I actually enjoy the midnight release rituals I've observed over the past 10 years.

Now that celebrities and media outlets are receiving copies, I'm hoping I can pick my copy up from my guy on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Nope, I don't see the need to go hunting for them and don't need a "season ticket" I can wait out the 3 days before release, not that big of a nerd about it.
